IDR is seeking a Digital Advertising Monetization Strategy Manager to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves leading strategic pricing and monetization initiatives within the digital advertising industry, supporting high-profile clients with expertise in ad tech and revenue generation models.

Position Overview for the Digital Advertising Monetization Strategy Manager:

  • Lead portions of a strategic pricing and monetization workstream for a global technology client.
  • Conduct expert interviews with industry stakeholders and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Analyze advertising revenue models, pricing structures, and monetization strategies across the digital advertising ecosystem.
  • Develop strategic recommendations around pricing, packaging, take-rate optimization, revenue share, and commercial strategy.
  • Partner closely with client leadership to identify growth opportunities and market trends.
  • Create executive-ready presentations and communicate insights to senior stakeholders.

Requirements for the Digital Advertising Monetization Strategy Manager:

  • 10+ years experience working within the digital advertising or ad tech ecosystem.
  • Strong knowledge of one or more of the following: Ad Exchanges, SSPs, DSPs, Publisher Platforms, Programmatic Advertising.
  • Experience with: Advertising monetization, Pricing strategy, Revenue models, Commercial strategy, Product monetization, Pricing optimization, Revenue share models, CPM/CPC economics.
  • Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, or expert interview-driven strategy work.
  • Ideal background is someone with experience in: Google Ads / Google Ad Manager, The Trade Desk, Magnite, PubMatic, OpenX, Index Exchange, Amazon Publisher Services, digital media agencies, programmatic trading desks.
