IDR is seeking an AI-Native Software Engineer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is ideal for a talented software engineer with a focus on AI integration and full-stack development, working within a dynamic and innovative environment in the software industry.
Position Overview for the AI-Native Software Engineer:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features using modern technologies such as C# / ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server / Azure SQL.
- Collaborate within an agentic engineering model where AI agents assist in code generation, testing, and documentation practices.
- Write well-structured, tested, and maintainable code, including unit and integration tests, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot production issues effectively.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude to accelerate development and improve coding productivity.
Requirements for the AI-Native Software Engineer:
- Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core for back-end development.
- Experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL and Entity Framework Core.
- Working knowledge of React or Angular for front-end development.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and general-purpose LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI).
- Ability to write structured, context-rich prompts for AI coding tools and critically evaluate AI-generated output for correctness and security.
