IDR is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Bay Shore, NY. This role is based in a manufacturing plant environment where the supply chain team is undergoing a significant ERP migration from NDS to SAP. The position offers a chance to support critical operations during a transformative period for the organization.
Position Overview for the Supply Chain Analyst:
- Responsible for procuring materials, planning production activities, and analyzing supply chain data to support efficient, cost-effective operations.
- Balances supply and demand, ensures material availability, and optimizes inventory levels.
- Creates, manages, and monitors purchase orders based on production plans, forecasts, and inventory policies.
- Collaborates with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and logistics teams to resolve scheduling or material constraints.
- Develops reports and dashboards to analyze demand, supply, inventory, and production data, providing actionable insights.
Requirements for the Supply Chain Analyst:
- 3+ years of experience in buying, production planning, or supply chain analysis
- Strong working knowledge of large, complex ERP/MRP systems and demand planning concepts (SAP is a huge plus)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (analysis, reporting, pivot tables)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Highly Preferred: Manufacturing industry experience
