IDR is seeking a AI- Driven Quality Engineering Manager to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is responsible for leading a team focused on enhancing software quality through AI-powered test automation, regression efficiency, and release quality practices in a cutting-edge technology environment. The company promotes innovation in quality engineering to support sophisticated software products.
Position Overview for the AI- Driven Quality Engineering Manager:
- Lead and develop a team of quality and automation engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Drive the adoption and implementation of AI-powered testing tools to improve automation speed, coverage, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, DevOps, and release teams to embed AI-enabled automation early in the development lifecycle.
- Improve regression strategies and release confidence through innovative automation and AI-assisted defect analysis.
- Measure and optimize quality metrics, leveraging data to identify gaps and implement process enhancements.
Requirements for the AI- Driven Quality Engineering Manager:
- 6+ years of experience in software QA, quality engineering, or test automation, with hands-on experience building and scaling automation frameworks.
- Strong experience with automation across API, UI, integration, and end-to-end testing environments.
- Experience evaluating and implementing AI tools to support automated test creation, maintenance, and defect analysis.
- Proven ability to lead and manage large engineering teams in complex systems, preferably with a background in healthcare or financial services.
- Strong understanding of modern software development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile environments.
