IDR is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Pennsylvania. This role involves supporting a major platform implementation within the investment management industry, focusing on data integration and reporting across enterprise functions.
Position Overview for the Business Data Analyst:
- Support the integration of State Street Alpha and BlackRock Aladdin platforms within the organization’s data ecosystem.
- Analyze, document, and validate business and data requirements across multiple enterprise functions.
- Ensure accurate data mapping, transformation, and integration between upstream platforms and downstream reporting systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across client reporting, finance, legal, compliance, operations, and other business units to understand reporting and data consumption needs.
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy during system integration and data migration processes.
Requirements for the Business Data Analyst:
- Experience working as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst within the investment management or asset management industry.
- Strong understanding of data integration, data mapping, and data validation processes.
- Experience working with enterprise financial platforms or investment management systems.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear data and technical specifications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across both business and technical teams.
