IDR is seeking a Workday HCM – Core & Compensation Lead to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in New York, NY. This role focuses on leading the implementation and configuration of Workday HCM and Compensation modules within a dynamic organization. The company operates in the technology and consulting industry, delivering innovative HR solutions to clients across diverse sectors.
Position Overview for the Workday HCM – Core & Compensation Lead:
- Serve as the functional lead for Workday Core HCM and Compensation, driving design, solutioning, configuration, and implementation
- Lead client meetings and workshops to gather requirements, present options, and drive timely decisions
- Configure Workday tenant based on approved designs and business requirements
- Identify, document, and maintain design documents, decision documents, RAID items
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve defects and address gaps, supporting testing cycles and ensuring solutions align with business needs and Workday best practices
Requirements for the Workday HCM – Core & Compensation Lead:
- 5–9 years of hands-on Workday experience across Workday HCM, Core HCM, and Compensation modules
- Workday Core HCM Certification (required); Workday Compensation Certification (preferred)
- Proven ability to lead client-facing workshops and drive decision-making during implementations
- Experience creating and maintaining functional documentation and implementation artifacts
- Strong experience with full lifecycle Workday deployments and supporting integration and testing activities
