Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior IT Accountant:

  • Manage and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts and financial statements.

  • Review financial documents and transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

  • Perform financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making across the business.

  • Prepare and review annual and quarterly budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

  • Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring correct booking of TDS/GST in Oracle financial systems.

  • Develop and implement company-wide economic policies and procedures.

  • Provide timely and actionable financial information to business leaders and key stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory reporting requirements in India and internationally.

  • Support the preparation and presentation of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Contribute to the overall financial health and operational stability of the organization.


Required Skills for the Senior IT Accountant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Proven experience preparing and analyzing financial statements and supporting SEC and regulatory reporting.

  • Strong understanding of TDS, GST, and Indian financial compliance regulations.

  • Experience working with Oracle or other enterprise financial systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

  • Strong skills in account reconciliation and resolving financial discrepancies.

  • Experience managing treasury functions, including both domestic and foreign payments.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments and with stakeholders at all levels.

Compensation Details: $50-52/hr based on experience
