Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Business Analyst:

  • Create complex, multi-tier product, service, and resource catalog entities in line with established standards and best practices.

  • Develop and present design documents outlining catalog configuration standards, including UI/UX elements and configuration logic.

  • Collaborate closely with business and IT product teams to implement new products/processes and optimize existing ones.

  • Evaluate incoming requests with the product owner to determine whether they require configuration or development.

  • Provide end-user support and assist in the development and implementation of enhancements and future projects, including training and mentoring.

  • Analyze, test, and document catalog model integration to ensure consistency and quality.

  • Assess and upgrade catalog software in coordination with vendor version updates.

  • Deliver business-requested reports and insights related to catalog data.

  • Troubleshoot and debug data configuration issues.


Required Skills for the Business Analyst:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in product and service catalog configuration.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of protocols such as JSON, XML, XSLT, and REST.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in the telecommunications industry.

  • Familiarity with the Hansen Catalog. Telecom experience

Compensation Details: $60-65/hr based on experience
