IDR is seeking a Plant Controller to join one of our top clients in Waco, TX. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Plant Controller:

  • Serve as the primary financial support for the Manager, Administrative, managing the administrative functions for production, cost analysis, accounts payable and receivables, monthly financial statements, and annual budget packages for the plant.
  • Supervise administrative positions in preparing analyses and reports on production performance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, and month-end closing.
  • Evaluate system driven reports; ensuring financial accuracy for plant processes.
  • Act as the key driver of the annual operating and capital budget processes for the plant.
  • Support the identification and financial assessment of capital projects and business initiatives.

Required Skills for Plant Controller:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing (Plant accounting and financial closing).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, or related field. MBA/MACC and/or CPA/CA/CMA designation preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and main drivers of financial results.
  • Excellent computer skills; with proficiency in Microsoft office products. Oracle, and OneStream experience desired.
  • Effective communication skills, including ability to write in a well-organized, cohesive, and concise manner.
