We are looking for a skilled and experienced Email Marketing Analyst to join one of our top energy clients in Houston, TX! Description:
They need a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual to support email marketing efforts using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and/or Market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coding, testing, scheduling, and reporting on email campaigns that align with the clients marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Email Development:
    Code responsive HTML/CSS emails from Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD designs.
    Ensure cross-client and cross-device compatibility (e.g., Outlook, Gmail, iOS).
    Use AMPscript (SFMC) or tokens/velocity scripting (Marketo) for personalization and dynamic content.
  • Campaign Execution:
    Build and test email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Marketo.
    Set up segmentation, automation workflows, and triggers.
    Manage email QA and approvals before scheduling and deployment.
  • Data & Personalization:
    Work with marketing teams to use audience data for dynamic content and personalization.
    Sync and manage lead/contact data across CRM and marketing platforms.
  • Performance Tracking:
    Monitor deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and other KPIs.
    Analyze results and optimize based on performance metrics.
  • Compliance & Best Practices:
    Ensure all emails comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other privacy regulations.
    Stay current with email marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.

Top Skills:

  • Proficient in HTML/CSS for email development
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (AMPscript, Journey Builder, Email Studio) and Marketo (Smart Campaigns, Lead Scoring, Tokens)
  • Familiarity with email testing tools (e.g., Litmus, Email on Acid)
  • Solid understanding of segmentation, lead nurturing, and lifecycle marketing
  • Knowledge of CRM integrations (e.g., Salesforce CRM & Marketo CRM)

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketo Certified Expert
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript or SQL is a plus
  • Experience with A/B testing and email optimization strategies
